Welcome to the New Mexico Farmers’ Marketing Association’s (NMFMA’s) Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) hub, where you will find evaluation and research reports, survey summaries, and other data.

The information provided here is based on the NMFMA’s multifaceted work across the local food system. This work is done in partnership with farmers, ranchers, food entrepreneurs, food hubs, farmers’ markets, health clinics, community-based organizations, state and local agencies, food retail outlets, research institutions, advocacy groups, and more. Key NMFMA programs that are implemented statewide include the following: SNAP Double Up Food Bucks, FreshRx, the New Mexico Grown Approved Supplier Program, Farmers’ Market and Member support, local food promotion, GoodFoodNM, and food systems collaboration.

Our aim with this site is to publicly share our findings so that partners, collaborators, and other interested parties have easy access to it. Through the MERL Hub, we seek to further our values of transparency, learning, and collaboration in working to strengthen the local food system in an equitable manner.
